Marketing and Public Relations Committee
The Marketing and Public Relations Committee is responsible for an helping to create an active and aggressive marketing program through advertisement, publicity, and promotions (this includes marketing for shows), they are responsible for promotions and community outreach with the goal of a increasing season ticket subscribers, patrons, and producers each year, and responsible for creating and distributing a quarterly newsletter and other mailings.
Front of House Committee
The Front of House Committee oversees all the front of house staffing and responsibilities which includes: ticket sales, lobby décor, concessions, and ushers and other house staff.
The Education Committee oversees Drama Camp, theatre for young people, public appearances, scholarships, and other educational opportunities.
Season Selection Committee
The Season Selection Committee reads and selects scripts that adhere to the GCTC mission statement and, when applicable, a particular theme. The committee helps to review and choose shows that the Theatre Company will present as part of it’s regular season.
The Finance Committee is responsible for finding and writing grants, as well as appointing all House Managers for shows and formulating an annual budget to present to the board.
The Coorespondence Committee helps GCTC make sure we acknowledge personal events of board members and/or participants with appropriate note, card, or gift (events such as death in family, illness, marriage, etc). They maintain all company archives, and help to tabulate data collected from surveys given to participants, subscribers, patrons, producers, and audiences.
The Technology Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining the GCTC website, social media, and other web presences. They are responsible for maintaining the GCTC database of patrons, volunteers, participants, members, etc. Part of their job is to stay current on developing internet and social media technologies to make recommendations of new platforms to the Board. The Technology Committee also maintains any and all GCTC-associated media files.
