Why Support GCTC?

Founded in 2003, the company was established to provide community theater opportunities for adults in the Gibson County area, promote the arts, and educate youth in theatre. The company has produced many outstanding theatrical performances in a variety of venues in Gibson County.  Over 10,000 people have attended our performances and 500 children have participated in the summer drama camps.

One of the most rewarding activities of the theatre company is its Youth Drama Camp. The annual camp provides many Gibson County youth with their first introduction to performing arts. The broad, multi-faceted experience is designed to instill a love for the theatre and inspire young people to explore performing arts as an avenue for personal development and self expression. The week-long camp emphasizes the development of a closely knit ensemble that celebrates the unique talents of each individual and culminates in a theatrical performance involving every camper.

We heavily depend on the support of those who understand the importance of investing in the arts for our community. The arts enrich the lives of participants and audience members alike, building community pride and fostering positive community values such as cultural diversity, tolerance, and free expression of ideas.  Any level of support is greatly appreciated.
